My work is continuously evolving, hopefully in an interesting way . . .
In 2006 when I first started, I was doing mainly pastels & most of my work was representational.
I am now exploring the intuitive abstract. Abstracts have captured my imagination like no other style ... the unraveling of each stage, each layer is like an unknown journey, revealing itself only at the end ... to me abstracts are exciting, fresh & essentially authentic!
I work predominantly in acrylics & mixed media but have plans to venture into oils one day (once I acquire a well-ventilated studio!)
I LOVE rich, vibrant colours & textures in paintings!

Hello my lovely friends!
Took me some time but was able to get this 3 column layout working ... thanks everyone :)
The one I tried was suggested by Maggie .
It worked ok, but I was getting the 2 small columns both on the left side, rather than on either side of the main area.
After a few turns (I'm a bit slow at times) the important note given near the end (typed in red & it still wasn't sinking in LOL) about the order finally sunk in & after cutting & pasting it into the right order ... TA DA!

... to change the blogger templates to a 3 column template?
(All the templates on here only have 2 columns) any advice greatly appreciated :)

On our way home from the coast we dropped into Gympie & picked up 2 small abstracts I purchased from
Kym ... I'm so thrilled!
I love them & can't wait to put them up on my wall in my studio area :)
Looking forward to doing Kym's workshop early next year, which she is doing for my local art group, BAVA ... can't wait!
